Green Collar Careers - Sun Path Chart

The purpose of the Sun Path Chart is to provide a graphical view of the sun's path through the day on both summer and winter solstices.  This will allow you to identify any obstacles that may restrict solar exposure to the collector through the year.  Click on the image to see a larger view.

Open the following Sun Path Chart tool provided by the University of Oregon to plot out an image of the chart to visually represent the Solar Altitude and Solar Elevation for the site.  This will help to orient the sketch.  The instructions are fairly straight forward and the PDF output is usually the best option.
